The late USA President John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country”. We will paraphrase JFK and say:

ASK NOT WHAT OUR MOVEMENT CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR OUR MOVEMENT”!

We say this because we firmly believe that only by working together can we successfully fight off the consistent attacks on our living standards.

Many Trade Unions have recently been involved Industrial Action to improve the terms and conditions of the members they represent. Not since the 70s have we witnessed such concerted action by workers.

Recent official figures show that, on average, workers who are members of a trade union earn 12.5% more than those who are not members. This tells us that where workers act together gains can be made.

By building the Trade Union movement we can raise the standard of living for those in work. By working with our communities, we can resist the ever-increasing fuel bills, the cost-of-living increases, the inhumane attacks on our welfare system AND bring an end to the indignity of attending food banks.

Are you prepared to continue to fund the millionaires, or will you join our fight for a fairer society?
