Our services

Our primary objective is to build the Trade Union movement within our communities. To this end we can provide advice on:

• Work related issues such as, pay, terms and conditions, bullying & harassment, work contracts etc:

• We will provide initial advice and guide you to the Trade Union best suited to your needs.

• In some instances, there will be more than one union which you may join. We will give you information on all those available and the choice will be yours.

• Our volunteers have a wide range of knowledge in different workplaces and will be delighted to assist.

We will also provide a sign posting service for those with issues such as: Housing or benefits etc:

We have a good working relationship with the City of Edinburgh as well as benefits advocates, Fair Rents and other organisations who can assist in these areas.

·PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT EXPERTS IN THE AREA OF HOUSING OR WELFARE BENEFITS AND WILL ONLY PROVIDE SIGN POSTING FOR PEOPLE WHO REQUIRE SUPPORT WITH THESE ISSUES.
